Playgroup

We are back!

Playgroup is offered every Friday during term time, from 9:00-10:30am. In the first four weeks of each term, playgroup finishes at 10:15am to allow staff time to sanitise before Kindergarten children arrive for their Friday sessions.   Playgroup finishes in week 4 of term 4 each year, and is replaced by transition visits for the following year's kindergarten children.

We are currently limiting children aged under 18 months/still mouthing, as per our COVID19 risk minimisation plan. If you have a child starting preschool in 2022 AND a child who is still mouthing, please contact us.  Please bring your own baby toys and bring mouthed resources to staff for washing.

Our playgroup coordinator is Vikki Mott, one of the kindergarten’s Early Childhood Workers. Bianca Stanbridge (director) is also available during playgroup for any questions you might have about the Kindergarten.

We strongly encourage families to attend playgroup with their child (or children) to help become familiar with the teachers, the centre’s facilities and to make connections with other families, particularly if your child/ren will be attending the Preschool.

The cost to attend our playgroup is $3 per family each visit. Please pay playgroup money to the coordinator.  Coffee and tea making facilities are not available at this time (as a COVID precuation) so please bring your own in a sealed travel cup.

There is no need to book in for playgroup but if you are planning to come for the first time and are unfamiliar with our centre or have a query, please don’t hesitate to call and speak to either Vikki or one of the other educators. We look forward to meeting you and your child!
